This course covers the fundamentals of algebraic topology, including CW complexes, fundamental groups, covering space theory, simplicial complexes, graphs and trees, and their applications to group theory. we explore singular and simplicial homology, the Eilenberg-Steenrod axioms, and important results including Brouwer's and Lefschetz' fixed-point theorems.
